Falling into Fall

We went to Park City for Halloween. I think it is now our new family tradition!! They shut Old Main Street down and you trick or treat from all the stores!! It is a BLAST they have Halloween music playing and random dance groups break out in dances like Thriller... EVERYONE dresses up so us lame parents who opted out of dressing up looked ridiculous:) Next year we will be rocking the costumes!! Madison was in heaven she thought it was the best thing in the world that all she had to say was trick or treat and they gave her the best treats in the world!! Jax on the other hand didn't nap all day so he was very onery and wouldn't let Josh put him down... For dinner we had sushi because who could resist!! We decided to sit in the very back of the restaurant because Jax was being a little beast... Who sat next to us you ask? Scott Wolf and his beautiful wife Kelley Limp... He is from Party of Five and NCIS occasionally and a bunch of other stuff and she is from Real World New Orleans. They are super nice and Madison played with their son the whole two hours we were there. It was a great trip and it is always so fun to see my mom because we hardly see her. I hope everyone had a blast on Halloween!!!

On July 28th I will FINALLY marry by better half:)
I couldn't be more happy!!! We are having a small backyard vintage themed wedding!!
I never thought planning a wedding big or small could be so hectic!! My brain NEVER
shuts off I am constantly thinking of new things I will need or how I want things to look.
Josh knows to stay clear and is so supportive!! Anyways that is the latest news around our neck of the woods;) Jax is just about crawling and madi is still a crazy 2 year old!! I will leave you with some of my ideas for the wedding:)

Life

Can I just tell you my life has never been more blessed!!! I have two beautiful healthy children who are the reason I wake up everyday!! Josh couldnt be any better, our relationship has never been so wonderful. Jax is now 6 months old where does the time seriously go!! I feel like it was yesterday I was bawling my eyes out to Josh about how worried I was I couldn't handle two kids and now I can't see my life any other way!!! Madison is 27 months old and FULL of personality and attitude those terrible 2's seem to be in full bloom!! She talks up a storm and is always so full of life and energy!! She is so kind and loving I love how she loves Jax she loves to play with him and make him smile and reminds him everyday that she lubs him!! Jax can now roll over and scooch his way all around the room he should be crawling within the month. He now sits up on his own and will chew on anything in his sight:) He has two bottom teeth and I'm pretty sure there are more coming! He is also always so happy and full of life!! We can't wait for this weather to warm up for good so we can enjoy the outdoors!! Our plans for the summer our the zoo and beach im determined to get to both lol.. We still spend alot of our time at Josh's moms and my moms we love that we are lucky enough to be able to do that it is always nice to get out of the small town and back to civilization:)... My vow is to update this thing more often so wish me luck!!

Joshua Jax!!!!!!

Joshua Jax Davis made his debut on October 27th at 12:04 p.m.!!! He was 6lbs 12.5 ounces and 18 3/4 inches long!!! He is PERFECT!! I went into the hospital at 6:00 a.m. because my surgery was scheduled for 6:30 a.m. needless to say if you are a planned c-section you dont have much priority around the hospital we ended up getting admitted and all hooked up with ivs and monitors .... and around seven they informed us surgery was backed up and someone else needed it more than I did soooo we sat around "patiently" until noon!!!! Ugh we were DYING with anticipation!! Things went GREAT my surgery was a breeze the only only bad things that happened were my spinal block wasn't working right and they couldn't poke the right spot so I was poked about ten times!! Ugh... then after my numbing was wearing off I started to itch all over and I was having hot flashes then needless to say throwing up.. The dr. came in and informed me I was allergic to the drugs they used to numb me... Nice to know afterwards.. Oh well.. But the good news was as soon as I was no longer numb I felt GREAT and was up walking around later that evening:).. We were discharged on Friday:) Im feeling great and Jax is AMAZING he nurses perfectly and hardly crys only when you change him... Even at night he only wakes up to eat. We feel so blessed and are enjoying every minute with our kids!!! Madison LOVES the baby but tends to get jealous easily but we are adjusting:)

Pumpkin Patch

Oh my gosh can you say ready to pop!!! This is me at 38 weeks and three days im so ready to be done!!! I don't think I could get any bigger or uncomfortable!! The reason I have to have a c-section is because my pelvis and all the rest of my bones inside are tilted inward so a baby can't fit through so everytime our little guy moves his head around it feels like someone is crushing my pelvis it's as painful as it sounds!! We got a ultrasound last week to make sure things looked perfect and his head was so far down we couldn' t even see his face:( I only have three more days!! We are getting sooo excited and im getting super nervous!! Knowing what I have to go through this time around has me nervous but I know everything will be just fine!!! I'll be posting a sweet labor story and pictures next week!!!!

I wanted to take Madison to the Pumpkin patch in town before Jax came so we decided to go on Thursday. They opened at five o clock we were the first ones there it was like our own private play ground!! It was perfect. They had a feeding area where you could feed the goats and Madi couldn't get enough!! We ended up feeding goats for thirty min. she would only give them one pellet at a time and always a kiss on the head to go with it was priceless!! Then we took her over to the "corn pit" which was a giant shed filled with corn madi wouldn't get out of it!! Finally we took the tractor ride over to pick out our pumpkins. It was a blast and im so glad we got to spend that time with Madison:)

October 27th!!

we scheduled my C-section for Wednesday October 27th at six am!!! Since Halloween falls on a Sunday they don't do surgeries that are elective BOOO!! Oh well we are super excited to have him here by Halloween!! As of today I only have 17 more days and im dying with anticipation!! Im soooo uncomfortable I just want to cry (which I tend to do every once an awhile) I have run out of room!! This past weekend I got all his clothes and blankets washed and his room is now fully organized and we are ready!! Josh's mom is making the bedding so we dont have that yet and we still need to pick the basinet up from Josh's sister but other than that he can come anytime now!! Madison is acting up and is super clingy so we are pretty sure she is aware something is coming soon so I have been making sure I give her lots of attention and spend as much of my time with her as possible.. These next two weeks will fly by im sure but i'll be sure to do at least one more post before I have Jax!!!

33 and GROWING

Holy Cow my little baby is getting WAY too big!! She is starting to talk and can I just tell you she reads books ALL day long!! I am pretty sure Josh and I read her books for about four hours a day.. We wont complain though we love our smart girl:) Although she is a doll she has quite the little attitude.. When she is not happy with you or what you are doing she will tell you to "get GET" or DONT!!!!! If you ask her if she wants to go to bed she yells NOOOOOO.... I have quite the drama queen but boy oh boy do we just LOVE her!!! It makes me sad to see her growing up so fast and turning into a little "girl" we recently put her in a toddler bed and she LOVES it we have had no problems with her in it.. She lays right down to go to sleep even at nap time she is my little angel:)

We just had our 33 week appointment yesterday and the little guy seems to be doing just fine:) We toured labor and delivery the rooms up here in Roosevelt are HUGE compared to the ones in St. George my family could barely fit in my room and the ones out here im pretty sure can fit all of Josh's and mine lol.. Im still feeling really good besides being tired and him kicking the crap out of me!! Josh and I just watch my stomach jump around every night we usually see a foot, fist, or hand trying to break through.. We get the biggest kick out of it!!! Madison is finally starting to grasp the Jax concept (I think) we have been getting his room ready this week and when she helps out we remind her these things are for baby Jax.. she usually gets this look on her face which is priceless telling us that we are crazy she is the only baby around here!! HaHa also if you ask her where Jax is she points at my tummy then hers lol she cracks me up!! Time is slowing down and days seem to drag but I know our little guy will be here soon!!! Until then I'll keep you guys posted on my nasty weight gain:)

31 Weeks

YAY!!! Im now 31 weeks and getting sooo excited for little JaX yes people this is correct we finally have decided on a name!!! We think its short, cute, and the best part Madison says it SOOOO cute!! My heartburn and acid kill me pretty much all day and I eat Rolaids and Tums like they are candy. I'm running out of room in my belly and the little guy pretty much kicks me and beats me up all day but I love every minute of it!! Josh and I have a blast watching and playing with him especially at night!!

29 weeks

I only have ten weeks left!!! Im getting soooo excited and anxious which is not a good thing because time will creep by. We have just about everything!! Our little boy moves around sooo much you can literally just sit and watch my stomach jump all around I am loving every minute of it even though he pretty much beats the crap out of my insides:).. Im still feeling really good I cant complain too much the heat still kills me so I am a baby and avoid it as much as possible.. Im starting to get bad acid reflux and im having a hard time sleeping but I also know if im complaining now im sure in for it later haha.. I also told myself I wasnt going to gain as much weight as I did with madi but I think im screwed there too oh well hcg will be my hero once again!! Madi loves my belly and gives it kisses on a daily basis.. although now she thinks everyone has a baby in her tummy including herself haha..

WOW.. I can honestly say this pregnancy has gone by super fast so far minus those long days and weeks of puking my guts out:) We are so excited for our little guy and its really starting to hit me we only have three more months!!! I guess I better start buying some things lol... I got an ultrasound at 21 weeks and all his organs looked great he is super healthy and we hope things continue that way!!! I crave sugar like there is no tomorrow!! If you know me at all you know I NEVER eat sweets and with this baby I can't get enough of them!! Its horrible haha.. I constantly get made fun of for my stash of goodies:).. Madison is getting so big and sooo smart I just love her more than words can express!! We know deep down she will be a sweetheart to the baby eventually hahaha:) anyways Ill be sure to keep everyone posted more since now im finally showing!!

New Addition

Yes that's right we are expecting baby number 2!!!!! We were very shocked when we found out we were expecting but we are so excited an can hardly wait!!! My due date is November 5, 2010 and since I had a c-section last time my dr. said we could deliver on Halloween haha.. We thought that was pretty cool since Madison was born on Valentines! So we will see if it works out or not:) We find out what we are having in 5 weeks so I will keep everyone posted!!!!

One Year Old!!!!

I can't even express to you how amazed I am on how fast this last year has flown by for Josh and I... it really seems like yesterday I was laying in the hospital with Madi and Josh. My baby is no longer a baby!!! I think every mother probably goes through these feelings wondering when in the world did she/he get that big!! Madison is no longer walking everywhere she runs with full excitement you can see in her eyes she is so aware of everything and just takes everything in she is so smart!! She is full of energy and always has a huge smile on her face. She is very michevious and likes to get into everything!! She says a few words that include, Dad, Daddy, Teddy, Puppy, mama. She LOVES her dad and everytime he comes home she runs to the door yelling daddy.. they play together constantly and she loves every minute she can get with him!! She loves me too but you can tell they will always be the best of friends!! We had a small family birthday party with Josh's family and it was sooo much fun!! I only took a few pictures on my camera because kim's is so much better so i'll post the ones I took. I see everday how Madison is full girl haha we gave her the cupcake and her face said it all!! She was not about to get dirty!!

WAY OverDue!!!

I am such a slacker when it comes to this whole blog thing!! I guess I feel like our lives are not that exciting haha.. but Madison is now ten months old and she can do SOO much!! She now is practically walking which we love!! Her personality is really starting to shine and Josh and I are LOVING this stage. Halloween came and went faster than we could blink Madi was a black cat which turned out ADORABLE.. For Thanksgiving Josh worked so we stayed out here in the Basin. I took Madi to Josh's uncles for the day so she could spend time with the family, while I helped cook a feast with all the rig wives and we delievered dinner to the guys since they had to work. It turned out great even though we were eating dinner in the "dog house" and barely could hear one another with all the noise, it made for great memories and I loved being able to spend it with Josh. I think he was more excited than me secretly because he hadn't had a Thanksgiving dinner for 3 years due to his crazy work schedule. Now it's almost Christmas time and the snow is falling fast and hard out here and I don't think I've ever experienced such cold weather it is freezing!!! Even if its sunny its no warmer than 15 degrees!! We venture back to civilization next week to spend time with both our families and celebrate Christmas because you guessed it Josh works, but that's ok Im actually excited to spend it with Josh and Madi. So I promise to post pictures after our trip!! In the meantime here is some pictures to help with this post;)..

Six Months ALREADY?!?!

I can't believe Madison is already six months old!! Time flys it seems like just yesterday I was bringing her home.. We have all come so far from that day and I feel so blessed to have her in my life. She is getting so big she can now sit up, smile on command, give herself her bottle and sippy, clap which she thinks is amazing, she plays with her toys with so much excitement and the best part when Josh or I walk into the room her eyes light up and we get the biggest grin. I love madi more than words describe I love being a mother and I look forward to everyday with her.

We took madison to the water park and she LOVED it. It was alot of fun to see her reaction.

She loved it so much she literally was diving in.. I have a feeling she will be a hard one to keep out of the water

We also stopped by Breighns house to visit.. Madison adores Kaileigh just as much as she does Madi... they giggle and laugh together it's the cutest thing.. I also got to spend time with Bre I dont get to see her much anymore so it's always a blast getting together!!

Last week was truly filled with many blessings.. My sister~in~law Lacy had her beautiful son Krew!! He was born a month early but was so strong and alert!! My other sister Breighn had her son a few days later and I had the wonderful opportunity to be there with her. He came out so handsome and healthly!! Seeing these babies makes me miss Madi being so small she looks so big compared to these boys!! I feel so blessed to be able to be apart of their lives..

WE MOVED

Josh and I took the plunge and moved closer to his work which is out in Vernal. We wanted to have the opportunity to see eachother more and spend time as a family. Now most of you would cringe at the thought of living out here I must say people claimed it would be horrible but once your out here I must admit it's not a bad town. I actually find myself enjoying it. Of course we miss our family and friends more than words describe!! The house is still pretty much torn upside down I must admit josh works nights this week so we dont get much done during the day its hard to move all that heavy furniture just were I want it, but here are two pictures of the house.. Its a newer home three bedrooms two baths it's the perfect size for us and we love it!!! I'll post more pictures as it all gets put together.

FATHERS DAY

I just wanted to let Josh know what an amazing dad he is to Madi. He does so much for her and teaches her new things. We love him with all our hearts!! This was Josh's first Fathers Day and sadly all we did all day was move and unpack, but we made sure to let him know how much we appreciated him!!

We also took the time to wish all our dads a wonderful day as well.. we may have a few but we love each one just as much!!! Thanks dads for everything you do for us.

My parents always made the comment how their kids grow up to fast. I always used to think they were crazy, until I had Madi. My gosh I swear she changes daily and everytime someone else is holding her I cant believe how big she is getting!! As some of you already know Madi has an undeveloped digestive system so she seems to be allergic to milk when she was first born she couldnt even stomach my breast milk. So I have been hesitant to start her on baby food not knowing how she would handle it.. Her Dr. finally gave the ok.. As you can see she loved it!!! She couldnt get enough!! Madi is definately not afraid to let you know when she is over something though as you can see in the 2nd picture she was done... Thankfully her stomach handles the food well so we are enjoying watching her eat!! .. So im a bargain shopper to the max and I dont think its necessary to buy Madi things she will out grow in two weeks.. Josh found these polo shoes though and we couldnt pass them up they are just so darn cute!!

ENGAGED!!

About a month ago Josh and I got engaged!!! We couldn't be happier to finally finalize our relationship and start a family.. We will be getting married September 25 in St. George,ut up at my mom's property. It's beautiful they live up in central which is close to Pine Valley. They have a gorgeous court yard full of flowers and ponds. I have full confidence things will be perfect!! Although I must admit I never thought planning and preparing for a wedding could be so much work!! Lucky for me I have a wonderful sister~in~law and mother~in~law who are so crafty! They help me more than they know with all their ideas!! I'll keep you posted on plans.. for now anything goes;)
